The Emerging Leaders Program is officially on fire this summer!
Our goal is to create opportunities for young people to become leaders in sustainability. Here is a sampling of some of the projects that are coming up:

- Become a sustainability Champion: We are now recruiting young people (18-25 years old) who are passionate about sustainability and interested in developing their leadership skills. The pilot program will be held in Ottawa, starting September 24. (Apply here!)
- Hire an Emerging Leader this fall: Are you interested in hosting a co-op student trained by The Natural Step Canada? We are working with Sheridan College to train and mentor students in their manufacturing management and quality assurance programs to apply sustainability in work placements from September to December 2011. - Participate in the Alberta MBA Sustainability Leadership Bootcamp: We are excited to launch this new program, generously funded by Cenovus with support from the Suncor Energy Foundation. Dates in October are being finalized for our Calgary pilot. This five-month program begins with an intense week-long Bootcamp in which MBA students and graduates are whipped into sustainability shape, and continues with coaching and group touch-points over the following four months. - IMPACT! Youth Conference for Sustainability Leaders: We are gearing up to provide training, speak, and attend this great conference—along with 165 students from across Canada, 12 alumni facilitators from the 2009 conference, and sector and academic mentors.
